WDS Reopens with Modified Schedule, Big Plans

Huzzah! The Webb-Deane-Stevens (WDS) Museum held a successful “soft” reopening on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 after an extended closure due to COVID-19. Wallace Nutting Experts to Lecture at WDS

Historian Bill Hosley and Wallace Nutting expert Michael Ivankovich will share their insights on Wallace Stevens this fall during two free presentations at the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum. On Thursday, September 22, at 6:30 p.m. Ivankovich will present: “Wallace Nutting Overview: 1861-1941.” On Thursday, October 13, at 6:30 p.m., Hosley will discuss “Wallace Nutting’s Crusade for the Colonial Past.” Both events will be held in the Webb Barn and be preceded by a wine reception, by donation, at 6 p.m.

Witches and Tombstones Tour

The Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum will offer an up-close and creepy examination of all things macabre during their annual Witches and Tombstones Tours on Saturday and Sunday, October 22 and 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission for the 90-minute tour is $15 per person. Space is limited and advance tickets may be purchased below. *Please note – Witches and Tombstones Tours include walking on uneven ground and the use of stairs.
